Detoxed water from Miracle Leaves
The medicated detoxed water from the miracle leaf(dupor bon, pategoja) - grown in the balcony.
Common Name: Air Plant, Life Plant, Miracle Leaf, Cathedral Bells, Goethe Plant.
Scientific Name: Bryophyllum pinnatum / Kalanchoe pinnatum.
Family: Crassulaceae
Recipe:
A few miracle leaves are ground, then mixed with black salt, ginger, tulsi leaves to make it a nice paste. Then it is filtered using a stainer. With few drops of lemon and honey as per taste makes it our awaited detoxed juice.

Mango Cake with chocolate layer
In a bowl, firstly the refined oil and the sugar are whisked and then eggs are added and whisked again. Then curd is added. Now when these ingredients are ready, the refined wheat flour is added. The grinded mango is added. Whisking continues and vanilla essence is added. Then mixed the baking powder and baking soda. The batter is almost ready.
The batter is divided into 3 parts. One part is added to the cake container now. A thin layer is made by mixing cocoa powder and batter. This layer is added on top of the first layer. The third layer is made of the custard powder and the remaining batter. These constitutes the 3 layers of different colour and feel.
Now the cake tin is gently tapped to settle the mixture. It is then kept in a pre heated(180 degree) oven for 30 minutes.
After the cake is baked, the melted chocolate is laid on top and a little bit of sprinkles are also added. Let the cake settles for 30 minutes.

Payas with jaggery and honey
Coming to the ingredients used, the payas was prepared for 4 people. A very unique rice available in Assam is used for the purpose, it is called Kon Joha(of Divine Harvest), which I got from Axom Haat here in Bangalore. Three and a half handful of rice, 800 ml milk, crushed cardamom 3 pieces, six-seven saffron strings for garnishing, one table spoon of desi ghee, organic jaggery powder for sweeten the kheer - 4 table spoon to my taste and one table spoon of honey have been used. Two small bay leaves are also used. Cashew and raisin are another two ingredients.

Mustard Sauce or Mustard Chutney - Old Indian Kitchen
I am one of those who are inventing and recharging new dishes from the common natural ingredients.Today I am going to share this recipe "Mustard Sauce". it is a very easy recipe with a great amazing taste with a very nice color.
Ingredients you need for this recipe:
- Organic Mustard seeds 3 to 4 tbsp.
- Chili 1 or 2.
- Garlic 5 to 6 pieces.
- Turmeric powder 1/3 tbsp
- Salt 1/3 tbsp
- Sugar 1/3 tbsp
- Squeezed fresh lemon 2 tbs
- Mustard oil 3 tbsp.
Recipe:
- Take one small size grind jar.
- Add the Mustard seeds.
- Add the chillies.
- Add the garlic pieces
- Add the salt and sugar
- Add turmeric powder.
- Now add 3 tbsp of water
- Grind them well and stir with a spoon.
- Grind until its become smooth.
- Take out in a bowl.
- Apply 2 tbsp of squeezed lemon on the paste and mix them well.
- Heat 3 tbsp of mustard oil in pan and apply to the mustard paste.
- You can keep this chutney or sauce in refrigerator 5 to 6 days.
- Serve this sauce with smoked fish or any hot snacks or any steam food items.

Steamed Egg Chilli - Steamed egg recipe - Old Indian Kitchen

Eggs recipes are the universally loved dishes. We can take egg at any point of time and its said that "Taking one egg a day is good & safe for healthy people".
So today, I am bringing a new variant of egg recipe to you i.e; Steamed Egg Chilli recipe. It is best for party starter, hope you will enjoy.

Ingredients:
- Eggs 3
- Onion medium size 1
- Capsicum slices 1 handful
- Soya sauce 2 tbsp
- Tomato sauce 1 tbsp
- Cornflour 2 tbsp
- Salt
- Oil
Recipe:
- First we have to prepare the steamed egg.
- For making steamed egg, you have to beat three eggs in a bowl.
- Mix the white parts and yellow parts properly.
- Now apply oil in the bottom of a plain small bowl.
- Put the egg liquids inside the bowl.
- Place the bowl inside a cooker, add one cup of water in the bottom.
- Allow 5 whistle to make the steamed egg.
- Once cooker releases its heat, take out the steamed egg and make small pieces of your choice.
- Now its time to prepare the main recipe.
- Marinate the egg pieces with soya sauce 1/2 tbsp, 2 tbsp of cornflour, salt and water.
- Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan and fry all for 2 minutes.
- Take out in a bowl.
- Add capsicum slices, onion slices in the same oil.
- Fry them well.
- Add the remaining soya sauce and 1 tbsp of tomato sauce.
- Mix them well.
- Add the fried eggs and salt.
- Allow them o cook for 5 minutes.
- Now your beautiful dish is ready .
- Serve it warm with bread/ ban.

Roasted Fish - A very less oil fish starter - Old Indian Kitchen
Hello everyone. Welcome back to your Old Indian Kitchen.
Today we are going to make one unique delicious fish starter. It is a quite simple one, I guess you will love it because its really very yummy and a very nice smoked flavor will make you crazy.
Ingredients:
- Fish pieces 2.
- Olive oil/ vegetable oil 1 tbsp.
- Salt.
- Chat masala 1/3 tbsp.
- Pepper powder 1/3 tbsp.
- Squeezed lemon juice 1 tbsp
- A good roaster to roast.
Recipe:
- Wash and clean the fish pieces.
- Remove the extra water using kitchen tissue.
- Apply oil, chat masala, pepper powder, lemon juice and salt one by one.
- Keep them for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, marinated fish is perfectly ready to roast.
- Turn on the gas stove.
- Put the roaster.
- Once roaster is heated perfectly, you can add the fish pieces on it.
- Control the gas stove such a way that fish will cook perfectly without burn.
- Meanwhile turn back the pieces.
- Within 10 minutes, roasted fish will ready for eat.

Summer Chicken recipe - One less spicy chicken gravy - Old Indian Kitchen
How to make a simple, light chicken gravy for summer time - Old Indian Kitchen
Ingredients:
- Fresh chicken pieces 500 grams.
- Onion slices (2 onion)
- Chopped tomato 1
- Chili 2
- Curd without water 30 grams.
- Whole garam masala (cloves 2, cardamom 2, cinnamon 1 inch).
- Gram masala powder 1 tbsp.
- Cumin powder 1 tbsp.
- Fried cashew pieces 1 tbsp.
- Oil 3 tbsp
- Turmeric 1/2 tbsp
- Salt
- Sugar 1/3 tbsp.
Recipe:
- Heat oil in the cooking pan.
- Simmer the gas.
- First add the whole garam masala.
- Once they starts cracking.
- Add onion slices.
- Fry them well .
- Add chopped tomatoes.
- Add turmeric powder.
- Fry and mix all together.
- Now add the chicken pieces.
- Fry them well and cover them for 3 to 4 minutes.
- After that add cumin powder and again saute them well.
- Add 3 tbsp of curd without water.
- Add sugar and salt.
- Allow the dish to be cooked in simmer for 10 minutes.
- After that, add the remaining curds to the dish.
- Add 1 cup of warm water.
- Cut the chilies above the dish.
- Allow the dish to be boiled for 10 minutes.
- Mix them well.
- Check the salt once and turn off the heat.
- Mix 1 tbsp of garam masala.
- Garnish the dish with fried cashew.
- Serve it warm with chapati or steam rice.

My samosa recipe - Indian snack - Old Indian Kitchen
How to make samosa at home - Old Indian Kitchen
Ingredients:
- Boiled potato 2
- Green peas 2 tbsp
- Roasted cumin seed 1 tbsp
- Sabji masala 1 tbsp
- Chopped Onions 1 handful.
- Chopped Cashew 3 (optional)
- Fried peanuts 1 tbsp
- Chopped raw ginger 1/2 tbsp
- Salt
- Turmeric 1/2 tbsp
- Maida 60 grams.
- Ghee/ vegetable oil 3 tbsp.
- Black cumin seed 1/2 tbsp.
- Ajwain 1/2 tbsp
- Water
- Curd 2 tbsp
Recipe:
- Peeled the boiled potato.
- Grate all.
- Add fried peanuts, cumin seed, fried cashew
- Heat 2 tbsp of oil.
- Add the onions, peas and potatoes with all other ingredients.
- Fry all and add salt.
- If required add 3 tbsp water and dry out the stuffing.
- Take out all in a plate.
- Meanwhile make the dough using maida, ghee/vegetable oil, black cumin seed, ajwain, water and Curd.
- Try to make it smooth and cover the dough with a wet cloth for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, make small balls (3 cm diameter) from the dough.
- Roll on the balls, make oval shape.
- Now cut it by half.
- Make each piece a cone.
- Fill that cone with potato stuffing.
- Apply normal water in edges of outer layer and seal it properly.
- Now prepare all the samosa in the way.
- If you wish you can deep fry each samosa in a deep cooking pot using 1 bowl of vegetable oil.
- If you love backed samosa --- apply 1 tbsp oil to brush all the samosa very gently.
- Now preheat the oven for 20 minutes and back all the samosa for 30 minutes in convection mood.
- Serve it warm with any sauce of your choice.

- Milk 1 litter
- Sugar 100 grams
- Water 500 ml
- Vinegar 1 tbsp
- Maida 1 tbsp
Recipe:
- Boil the milk in a container.
- Add vinegar.
- Milk will be curdled within 5 minutes.
- Allow it to cool in room temperature.
- Drain the water and collect the cheese in a clean kitchen cloth.
- Tie up the cloth and refrigerate it for 1 hour.
- After 1 hour, take out the cloth.
- Take out the milk cheese from the cloth.
- Make smooth dough with that milk and 1 tbsp of maida.
- Make small balls from the dough.
- Meanwhile make the sugar syrup using 95 grams of sugar and 300 ml water, boil the mixer until sugar is completely melted.
- Take out the sugar syrup in a bowl.
- Now add water to a cooking pan and add 2 tbsp of sugar.
- Add the milk balls.
- Allow them to boil for 12 minutes.
- Now take out all the rasgullas from the boiled water and add all to the sugar syrup.
- Allow 1 hour to cool in room temperature and serve homemade rasgullas to your friends.Here is a video about the same, enjoy!
