How to make Malpuwa in a simple way - Old Indian Kitchen

Malpuwa is one of the old Indian foods.There are lots of varieties in  Malpuwas available in different corners of India. Many people love sweet Malpuwa and many of them love Namkeen Malpuwa. Both the recipes are quite easy and delicious. Today I am going to share the recipe "Namkeen Malpuwa" which is my favorite Malpuwa, I prepare it with my own way and it is a simple one. Hope you will love it.😚



Namkeen malpuwa


Ingredients I used in this recipe:

  • Maida or all purpose flour 100 grams
  • Cumin seed 1 tbsp
  • Freshly chopped spring onions 2 handful/ Chopped Onions 
  • Salt 
  • Chili (optional) 
  • Water
  • Refine oil

Recipe:

  1. Take one bowl and add 3 handful of Maida or you can add 100 grams.
  2. Add 1 tbsp cumin seed and salt as per your taste.
  3. Add the onions or spring onions.
  4. Add chopped chilies 1.
  5. Add  250 ml water and mix them well.
  6. The batter should be smooth.

  7. Take one Tawa or flat cooking pan and place it on gas with low heat.
  8. Heat 1/2 tbsp of refine oil.
  9. Add 2 ladle full batter on the oil and spread them well with the ladle.

  10. Allow them to fry one side for  2 minutes in a low heat.
  11. Then turn it back with the help of flat ladle.

  12. Namkeen malpuwa step 4Allow it to fry both side nicely for 2 minutes.

  13. Now your delicious easy quick Malpuwa is ready and take out it in plate.

  14. Make all the Malpuwas from the remaining batter.
  15. Serve it  hot with Tomato sauce.It a very yummy dish for breakfast time or evening snacks.
