👌👩Mamma's Chicken Recipe is the best recipe for me.It is the traditional chicken curry,which I have been eating from my childhood days.It is a mouth-watering gravy,smells really good and also looks very good.I miss all my mamma's recipes and try to make it by my own.Hope you guys will enjoy it.Have a great cooking.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1/2 kg
  • Chop onions 2
  • Potato 2
  • Chilly 3
  • Fresh ginger 1/2 tbsp
  • Fresh garlic 3 tbsp
  • Cumin powder 2 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1 and 1/2 tbsp
  • Cinnamon small piece 1
  • Cloves 3 or 4 pieces
  • Green Cardamom 2 or 3
  • Turmeric powder 1 tbsp
  • Salt 
  • Sugar 1/3 tbsp

    Cooking Process:

    Cooked chicken,ready for add hot water
    1. Wash the chicken and marinate them with 2 tbsp of cumin powder and 1 tbsp of coriander powder.
    2. Cut each potato in two pieces.
    3. Add mustard oil to cooking pot and fry the potatoes for 3 minutes.
    4. Pull out the potato fries from oil
    5. Now add onions,ginger,garlic and chilly to the oil and fry all together.
    6. Add 1/3 sugar to the masala,it will bring nice color to the entire gravy
    7. Fry until the color turns to golden brown color.
    8. Add the chicken pieces and potato fries to the masala  and mixed them nicely.
    9. Fry all for 3 minutes in low heat,then add 1 tbsp of turmeric.
    10. Cover the cooking pot for 5 minutes.
    11. Checked repeatedly
    12. Once chicken cooked,add salt for your taste and add 2 and 1/2 cups of hot water to the dish
    13. Boil the dish for  5 to 7 minutes.
    14. Meanwhile, crush the Cinnamon, Cloves and Green Cardamom smoothly.
    15. Turn off the heat and add the  Cinnamon, Cloves and Green Cardamom  powder i:e garam masala to dish.
    16. You can serve this dish with steam rice, paratha and fulka.
