 How to make Green Fresh Sauce - Old Indian Kitchen.

Mint chutney using mango ginger - Old Indian Kitchen

Green fresh sauce is a tummy friendly sauce.I call it Tummy Friendly because it helps in digestion,increase the appetite to take proper amount of food.It can be taken at any time with any combination (with chapati/rice/any snacks i:e Samosa, Kachori,Cutlet etc).

There are couple of ways to prepare green sauce.Today I am going to share one recipe which is very tasty in mouth and very helpful in high blood pressure.

Ingredients you need for this sauce:

  • Mint leaves 1 bunch.
  • Tamarind  4 piece without seed
  • Fresh Ginger 1/2 tbsp
  • Fresh Garlic 2 tbsp
  • Chilly 3
  • Sugar 1/2 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tbsp
  • Mustard oil 1 tbsp

 Preparations steps:

  1. Remove the mint leaves from the bunch.
  2. Wash and clean properly.
  3. Add all leaves to a Grinder jar.
  4. Add Garlic,ginger*,tamarind,sugar and chilly.
  5. Grind all.If required,add 2 tbsp of  water to the jar.
  6. Sauce should be very smooth.So please grind it until it become smooth.
  7. Take out the sauce in a bowl.
  8. Add salt as per your taste.
  9. Add 1 tbsp of mustard oil.
  10. Mix properly, healthy mint leaves chutney or sauce ready to serve.

*I used mango ginger.Its smell is similar to green mango.If you do not have mango ginger,then you can use the normal one.

** I mentioned that it is good for high blood pressure because garlic and tamarind helps reducing blood pressure.

***You can keep this sauce in refrigerator and can use 2 to 3 days.

3.Garlic and mustard oil hot mixer is very good for massage.
4.It is very good for high blood pressure.
5.Garlic can prevent heart disease.
6.Garlic may help you live longer.

Ginger benefits:

3.It helps reducing nausea.
4.It helps in food digestion.
5.It helps in reducing muscle pain.
6.Ginger is good home remedy for cold and cough.

Pach Phoron and benefits:
 Panch Phoron is a combination of five spices in a equal amount, named fenugreek seed, nigella seed or kalonji, cumin seed, black mustard seed and fennel seed.
Benifits:
1.You will get benifits of five seeds in a same time in one recipe.
2.It very easy to use pach phoron in preparing lenthils.
3.It will satisy your taste because all the seeds have different, nice flavour.
4.It is usefull in preparing pickles.

Fenugreek seed benefits:
1.It is good for high bp patient.
2.It is also benificial for diabetic patient.
3.It helps to reduce cholesterol.
4.It helps to relieve sore throat pain and cough.
5.It is very good for new mothers.

Black mustard seed benefits:

Nigella or kalonji seed benefits:
