How to make fish curry with curry leaves - Old Indian Kitchen

Curry leaves are one of the medicated  strong flavored leaves from old Indian kitchen. It looks like neem leaves, so many people call it "sweet neem" in India.

This medicated leaves have lots of benefits, it is good for tummy, hair, skin, eyes and all.

So add some curry leaves to your meal  and enjoy.

Ingredients :

  • Curry leaves 1 bunch.
  • Chopped garlic 2 tbsp.
  • Chopped ginger 1/4 tbsp.
  • Pepper powder 1/3 tbsp.
  • Small fried fish/ fried fish round cut 6 piece.
    Puthi mas
    Fish
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp
  • Boiled and peeled potato 1 or 2.
  • Chili 2.
  • Mustard oil 2 tbsp.
  • Salt.

Preparation time:

30 minutes.

Cooking time:

15 minutes.

Recipe:

  1. Remove the curry leaves properly and rinse thoroughly.
  2. Take one grinder jar, make a smooth paste of curry leaves.
  3. Heat oil in the  deep cooking pot.

    Add the fried fish
  4. Add the ginger garlic paste.
  5. Fry them in the simmer for 1 minute.
  6. Add the chili.
  7. Now grate the boil potato over the fried ginger garlic paste.
  8. Mix all nicely.
  9. Add turmeric powder.
  10. Add the curry leaves paste.
  11. Mix all together.
  12. Add two cups of water.
  13. Add salt
  14. Add pepper powder.
  15. Add the fried fish.
  16. Allow them to boil for 7 minutes.
  17. Now the dish is ready, serve it warm with steam rice.
